The 3 ton column mounted jib crane is a kind of light lifting equipment consisting of a column, a slewing arm, a slewing drive device and an electric hoist. Its uprights are fixed on the ground. The swivel arm can be rotated by a certain angle as required, generally 180 degrees, 270 degrees or 360 degrees. Therefore, its working area is generally circular or fan-shaped.

The jib crane generally use electric chain hoists as the lifting mechanism. It is widely used in machine tool production lines, assembly lines and workstations, mines and workshops, warehouses, docks, etc.

Jib crane is a common lifting equipment with convenient operation. If it is operated improperly, safety accidents may occur. Therefore, pay special attention to the following matters.

1. The actual operation staff of the 3 ton column mounted jib crane should strictly implement the safety operation regulations. Carry out a full load test before each use, and check whether all the mechanisms such as turning, safe operation, elevator, limit switch, etc. are normal. If there is an abnormality, it should be shut down and repaired before it can be put into use.
2. Use within the specified load range and prohibit overloading, otherwise accidents may occur.

3. The buffers or partitions on both sides of the cantilever I-shaped steel movement track are only used as limit switches. They are not allowed to be used as a braking method in normal safety operations, and do not bump.
4. The ropes used to tighten the hanging objects must have compressive strength and be fastened firmly. The rope set on the lifting hook of the 3 ton jib crane must be in a position where it is not easy to dislocate in the direction of the management center of the hook.
