On the first day of returning to work in the new year, on January 4th, we received an inquiry from Indonesia. The client told us that he was looking for a hoist trolley.
The hoist trolley usually runs on a double girder crane. We confirmed the tonnage required with customer and inquired whether it was to replace the original hoist trolley.
The next day, we received a reply from the customer who stated that they needed a 32-ton hoist trolley to replace the original one. Because the hoist trolley they purchased before has been used for several years, there have been many problems and need to be replaced. The customer also sent the drawings of the original hoist trolley to our mailbox.
After getting the drawings, we made quotations and drawings according to the customer’s previous hoist trolley.
After seeing the quotation, the customer was very satisfied with our products, but he said that since he was only a purchasing staff, the final decision was made by his boss.
Through communication, we found that the customer currently has 5 quotations, and all of them are from China. We are very confident in both product quality and price. But the client said that our offer was likely to exceed his boss’s budget. He wants us to offer some discounts. This way we have a better chance of winning the offer.
On January 6th, after discussion, we decided to give the customer some discounts to keep the price within the customer’s budget.
On January 11, we confirmed the progress process of the project with the client. The client said that he just submitted the quotation to the boss and is still waiting for the boss’s reply. All we can do now is wait patiently.
On January 17th, we received the supplier registration form from the customer. The customer said that after filling out the relevant forms, we can get the PO. Again we won orders from 5 suppliers.
On January 18, we received the purchase order from the customer as scheduled.
At the end of March, this European style hoist trolley has been produced and sent to Indonesia.
