Britain Client Portable Mobile Gantry Crane Transaction Case

Portable mobile gantry crane is a light duty gantry crane. It can be easily used in places where cranes cannot be used or where it is not economical. It can be simply split into several parts that are easy to transport, and can be quickly assembled in another place of use. This feature is beneficial in many occasions. Therefore, the market for portable gantry is very hot.

Early June, we received an inquiry about portable gantry crane from Britain client. He plan to purchase a portable gantry to use in his warehouse.

After understanding the basic needs of the customer, we made a regular quotation. In order to better serve the customers and meet their needs, we asked the customer for the drawings of the warehouse, and according to the warehouse conditions, we modified the quotation in detail for him. The fixed height portable mobile gantry crane is replaced with an adjustable height to facilitate customers to push it in and out of the warehouse.

Our client is very satisfied. But at this time, another problem appeared. Considering the location of the items in the warehouse, the customer wants a portable gantry that can move both parallel to the main beam and perpendicular to the main beam. Since what the customer needs is an all motorized model, a total of four wheels, and two wheels with motors can only move perpendicular to the direction of the main beam, so we ran into trouble.

After discussion by the engineers of our technical department, we decided to replace the two wheels with motors with universal wheels, so that we can meet the customer’s requirements for moving in both directions. After telling the customer our idea, despite the need to increase the cost, the customer was very happy to accept it.

In the past month, we communicate effectively and well continuously, and constantly change the quotation according to customer requirements. Finally, at the beginning of July, we received the bank slip from the Britain customer. He finally bought four sets portable mobile gantry cranes and some spare parts.
