On November 23, 2023, we received an inquiry from a customer who needed two 2.5-ton, 4.5-meter-high, 4-meter-span portable aluminum gantry cranes. After a background check, we learned that the customer was the general manager of a heavy cargo transport company in New Zealand. On the same day, we immediately contacted the customer by email and asked about some basic parameters. The next day, the customer responded to all questions in detail and asked us to respond as soon as possible and inform the earliest delivery date.

Based on the customer’s needs, we first quoted two LT1 aluminum alloy simple gantry cranes and informed them of the production cycle and warranty period. Then on Monday, I communicated further with the customer via WhatsApp, and the customer informed us that the net height of their rolling door was only 4.5 meters, while the maximum height inside the building could reach 4.9 meters. Based on this information, we adjusted the plan and provided a second quotation, recommending the LT2 aluminum alloy simple gantry crane.

The customer was particularly concerned about whether the product met New Zealand’s certification standards and asked us to provide a template for the product inspection report. In accordance with the customer’s requirements, we shared ISO certificates, CE certificates, inspection reports, and water lists of similar products via email and WhatsApp. The customer then consulted with a local engineer to confirm whether the product complies with New Zealand regulations and informed us that the results would be available next week.

The customer replied by email to confirm the purchase of two devices. The main communication for this project was conducted via WhatsApp. The customer attaches great importance to product quality and the testing requirements it may face in New Zealand. Throughout the process, the customer’s needs were clear, our responses were very timely, and the communication went smoothly.
