In January 2023, the engineering manager of the customer company first asked our company for a price. After learning about our products and receiving the first-phase quotation, the engineering manager said that their company’s procurement department would contact us later. While waiting, we shared some success cases with the engineering manager.

It was not until August last year that their procurement staff officially contacted us to negotiate a discount on the price. The customer initially hoped to get a 10% discount, and finally gave a 4.7% discount within our capabilities, and the customer accepted it. Next, the customer objected to the payment terms, and they wanted to pay after receiving the goods. After many negotiations, we compromised to 40%TT advance payment and 60%TT balance. But the customer insisted on 30%TT advance payment and 70%TT balance. In the end, we agreed to the customer’s payment request.

After the commercial terms were agreed, the customer raised questions about the technical details. After close communication and cooperation between the two parties, these issues were also successfully resolved. Subsequently, the customer sent their supplier registration form, which we filled out and returned to the customer in a timely manner, and sent the customer PI. In mid-November last year, we received the customer’s advance payment.

This order took a long time to complete, and the negotiation process was long and complicated, but we finally made the deal and the customer purchased 10 wire rope hoists. Although the whole process was difficult, the final result was satisfactory.
