Country: Australia–Melbourne
Product: Two low headroom chain hoists
Purpose: lifting accessories
On January 8, 2024, our company received an inquiry from Australia about low-altitude chain hoists. During the communication process between our business personnel and the customer, the customer directly sent the physical picture of the product he needed – the low headroom chain hoist. Then after the salesperson confirmed the lifting weight, lifting height, delivery address and quantity with the customer, he called the customer to confirm the control method of the chain hoist he needed. The customer requested dual control of remote control and handle. The customer also requested a door-to-door price. We considered that the door-to-door price was relatively expensive and it took a long time to check the logistics, so our sales staff directly sent the CIF price to the customer for reference, and then based on Customer response considers whether door-to-door pricing needs to be updated.
After reading the quotation that day, the customer expressed confusion about the total price. Our sales staff communicated with the customer over the phone and explained that the door-to-door price would be very expensive, which would increase the cost a lot. After weighing the pros and cons, the customer directly chose CIF terms to purchase on the same day. Then we sent the PI to the customer on the same day. The customer was too busy the next day and forgot to pay, so the salesperson reminded the customer. The customer paid in full on the third day.
The products have now been produced in our factory and are being prepared for shipment. Because it is the first purchase, the customer is always a little worried. We need to update the customer on the progress in time and respond to the customer’s message in a timely manner. And we provide all-wooden box packaging, which is exactly what our customers require. In addition, we will provide a packaging statement if requested by the customer.
