In September last year, SEVENCRANE received an inquiry from a Croatian customer. Due to the unclear requirements in the inquiry, it was necessary to contact the customer to obtain complete parameters. After adding the customer’s contact information, they contacted me on WhatsApp. The customer checked my message but did not reply. Therefore, they contacted me again via email and sent feedback on the Australian cantilever crane, but the customer still did not reply.

A few days later, I found out that the customer still had Viber. With a try and see attitude, I sent a message to the customer but still couldn’t reply. So, a few more days later, I sent the customer pictures of our Indonesian exhibition, still checking my message but not responding.

In October, a simple gantry crane was exported to Croatia. It had been half a month since the last contact with the customer, so I shared the water bill for the simple gantry crane exported to Croatia with the customer. At this time, the customer finally replied and took the initiative to say that she needed a cantilever crane with a capacity of 3 tons, an arm length of 5 meters, and a height of 4.5 meters, because the customer was used to lift metal materials and did not have any special requirements, So I quoted the customer a regular BZ type jib crane, and the next day after the quotation, I asked for their thoughts. The customer was more concerned about quality issues and could see our products in Croatia or nearby countries. At this point, I showed the customer the feedback from the Australian customer after purchasing and the water bill from the Slovenian customer, and told them that they could provide load testing for the cantilever crane.

Afterwards, the customer informed us that they were waiting for the EORI number (a necessary registration number for import and export in EU countries). During the waiting process, the customer discovered that the height of the cantilever crane in our drawings was 4.5m, while the customer requested a total height of 4.5m. They then modified the quotation and drawings for the customer. When the customer received the EORI number, they paid us 100% advance payment.
