On August 27, 2024, we received an inquiry from a customer who clearly expressed his desire to purchase a jib crane and basically could provide a direct quote. After further communication with the customer via WhatsApp, we learned that the customer was purchasing equipment for others, and the specific power supply voltage and usage needed to be further confirmed. Soon, the customer provided more detailed information and on-site photos, indicating that the project was currently in the proposal stage, and asked us to submit a quotation in accordance with these requirements.

Two weeks later, the customer reported that the buyer needed more detailed information, including load diagrams, product weights, foundation drawings, and delivery dates. As the end of the year was approaching and production arrangements were tight, we promptly informed the customer of the pressure on the order production schedule. The customer honestly told us that the project had been approved and said that he would communicate with us about procurement matters via email in the future.

However, things did not go as smoothly as expected. The buyer was very cautious. Since they mainly provide engineering services to the owner, this jib crane project will be installed on an offshore platform, and the construction period is very tight. Faced with a series of inquiries and price reduction requests from customers, we patiently answered them, and successfully won the trust of customers with professional knowledge and high-quality services.

Finally, the customer realized that the work required by the owner could not be completed on time according to the original schedule, so he took the initiative to propose to airfreight the foundation part first so that it could be installed immediately after the main structure of the cantilever crane arrived. At this stage, the sea and air shipments of the goods have been sent out as planned, and the customer is satisfied with our quick response and flexibility.
