A portable gantry crane is a light lifting device that resembles a gantry. It is a miniature gantry developed on the basis of the gantry crane and based on the needs of small lifting operations.

Unlike the rail mounted gantry crane, which can only move back and forth along a fixed track, its advantage is that it is convenient and flexible. There are universal load wheels under the outriggers, which can move in all directions on a flat ground.

The main part of the mini gantry crane is composed of columns and beams on both sides. The beam is composed of a transverse channel steel and a vertical channel steel fixed on both sides of the transverse channel steel through side supports, and a lifting ring is fixedly connected at the center of the transverse channel steel.

The vertical channel steel and the column are fixedly connected, and the column is an inverted “T”-shaped structure formed by the fixed connection of the vertical channel steel and the horizontal channel steel. The two ends of the channel steel at the bottom of the column are provided with sockets, and the universal wheel is movably connected to the column through the sockets.

The lifting weight of the portable gantry crane is 500kg-20 tons, the maximum span is 8 meters, and the maximum height is 6 meters. It is especially suitable for equipment installation and debugging, mold loading and unloading and maintenance, and installation, handling and debugging of equipment in auto repair factories, mines, construction sites and workshops.
