In August 2024, we received an inquiry from a construction company in Singapore. The customer needed a steel portable gantry crane for lifting materials on the construction site. Since the construction site is not suitable for large cranes, the grue à portique portative en acier can provide a flexible lifting solution in small spaces and rough roads, which can be used by subcontractors and third-party contractors.

After understanding the customer’s project requirements, we provided them with quotations and design drawings for three steel portable gantry cranes. The customer asked about the performance of the equipment when lifting items on rough roads, and then we showed the customer relevant videos showing the operation performance of the steel portable gantry crane on different terrains.

In October, the customer invited us for a video conference. During the meeting, we discussed the payment terms in detail and confirmed the payment method of 40% T/T advance payment and 60% T/T before shipment. Based on the customer’s feedback, we updated the details of the steel portable gantry crane quotation and sent relevant documents such as the quality assurance certificate template.

Regarding the electric chain hoist, the customer proposed that the chain hoist was not needed for operation, but four lifting points were designed on each steel portable gantry crane by bolt connection, so that the appropriate lifting points could be flexibly selected for lifting according to the different work locations and scopes. Our engineers quickly modified the design drawings and confirmed that they could meet the customer’s requirements.

After the meeting, we sent the updated quotation and drawings to the customer, and the customer also provided a supplier registration form. Subsequently, we sent the customer a formal PI and soon received the advance payment. At present, the goods are in production and are expected to be shipped soon.
