The working principles of hoists are similar, but due to some differences in structure, the performance is different. They will be described below:

Scope of use: Wire rope electric hoists are often used in single-girder bridge cranes and single-girder gantry cranes, especially large-tonnage cranes above 5t. CD/MD wire rope electric hoists have an absolute advantage. Electric chain hoists are often used in cranes below 5t, especially in assembly lines, wind power and other projects, as well as light and small lifting equipment such as jib cranes and KBK cranes.

The main differences between wire rope electric hoists and chain hoists can be classified as follows:

1. Transmission medium: The transmission medium of the electric chain hoist is the chain, and the transmission medium of the electric wire rope hoist is the steel wire;
